Private and Professional (non-nhs services) - Fees April 2019
Your doctor treats you under the NHS, however some duties are not covered by the NHS and your doctor will make a charge for these. These charges are normally payable BEFORE an appointment is booked or a form is completed. These services are NOT given priority over NHS services but we aim to respond within 21 days. Where this is not possible, you will be advised by the practice. PLEASE NOTE: our Reception staff do not have discretion over these charges.
Non-NHS services which may be charged for include:
- Access to records

- Accident and sickness insurance medicals and reports
- Certificates—such as private sick notes for the first week of work absence
- Drivers’, school and sports medicals
- Holiday insurance certificates and passport applications
- Private health insurance claims
- Private prescriptions for travel abroad
