As we prepare to ‘restart’ services at the practice, we will shortly be preparing a range of communications to all patients so that they are prepared for the changes that will be in place to ensure both staff and patients remain safe.

You will already be aware that guidance around the wearing of face coverings is being introduced in many more places and this is likely to be ‘normal’ practice for some time. Patients who attend the practice are already wearing face coverings, and we thank them for their compliance which helps us all.

Some patients have started to contact the practice to make enquiries regarding exemption letters regarding the wearing of face coverings – unfortunately the GPs at the practice will not be supplying these – the GPs are providing a service for patients who need health care only. Please do not be offended when staff remind you of this – they have been told not to book precious appointments for patients to discuss this matter with a GP.
