We have had some patients attempting to ‘walk in’ for appointments and also turning up late for appointments; we have unfortunately had to turn them away. In order to keep staff and waiting patients safe we can no longer accept ‘walk in’ patients nor those turning up unacceptably late – we have a maximum occupancy limit in the building and we need to ensure patients are not waiting any longer than is necessary.

The staff have already taken some abuse from patients this week and we respectfully ask that all patients think twice before taking out their frustrations on the staff – please remember these staff have given up holidays and worked through bank holidays to try and maintain essential services since March.

We honestly know how stressful this is for everyone, but our priority is to be safe. You will be aware that Covid-19 is already increasing in the Holbrooks area and this by itself will increase tensions – Please don’t take this out on our staff!
