This week sees the introduction ‘Hot Hubs’ across the city. These are intended to assess patients who may have symptoms of Covid19. Whilst most patients will have mild symptoms and be self-isolating at home, some patients may be becoming very unwell.

When you ring the surgery, if you are complaining of Covid-like symptoms, that is a high temperature or a new continuous cough, you will be booked a triage appointment with a GP who will assess your symptoms, specifically relating to the risk of you having Covid19.

If it is felt that your symptoms require a GP to make a face to face assessment, you will be referred for an appointment at one of the designated locations across the city which are being run by Coventry & Rugby GP Alliance.

When the appointment is allocated to you, instructions on what to do will be sent to you directly via SMS or email.
