We are now booking appointments for patients aged 65+ and all patients over 18 with underlying health conditions.

Due to the high volume of patients needing to be contacted the CCG have enabled all practices to access an online booking tool called Accyrx.   We will send this out to patients, in batches (to coordinate with availability of vaccine) a link to enable them to book their own appointment.  This link will also enable you to Decline the appointment if you do not want the vaccine.  All this information will be entered into your medical records.

We have noticed a high volume of missing or incorrect mobile phone numbers which prevents us contacting you by phone but also prevents you accessing this new online facility.  If you have changed your mobile number, or you wish simply to confirm your number, please let us know by using the online form on our website or by sending an email to hht.admin@nhs.net.

Finally, some patients are being aggressive and hostile towards our staff.  Can we please ask you not to do this.  Our staff do not control the cohorts in which patients are invited, this is via our CCG despite messages in the media, neither do they control appointment availability – this has to be matched to vaccine deliveries – again not controlled by the practice.  Everyone will be invited as soon as possible.  Staff are working around the clock and we are also relying on time given by volunteers to help this process.
