Patient feedback and complaints

We welcome comments about our practice and the health services we provide. Anyone who is registered as a patient at our health care practice in Coventry or who has received treatment from us can make a complaint. Where criticism is made we will respond to the complainant and, where necessary, put right what was wrong.

We aim to give the best possible standard of service, both clinical and administrative, at all times. However, there may be times when you feel this has not been achieved.

We operate a NHS complaints procedure to deal with comments, suggestions and complaints about the service we provide. All staff are trained in this procedure and will be happy to give you further information.

We will try to address all your concerns promptly, provide you with an explanation and discuss any action that may be needed to prevent a future occurrence.

Order Repeat Prescriptions

Patients on long-term treatment may be allowed to have a repeat prescription without seeing the doctor each time. If this is the case your prescription will automatically be updated. You may be asked to have a blood test or even provide a BP reading.

If the computer indicates the time has come for a check-up, the POD Prescription Ordering Service will ask you to book a medication review - these are more than  likely to be with a GP or a Clinical Pharmacist via a telephone appointment. **Please check your prescription printout for up-to-date instructions**

All routine repeat prescription requests should be made via the NHS POD service (based at Coventry & Rugby CCG). This is a convenient way to order your repeat prescription by a dedicated, experienced and fully trained call handler. Ring (024) 7624 6072 Mon-Fri 8am - 5pm. Orders placed each day will be authorised by the GP and sent to your usual pharmacy; this can be as soon as SAME DAY!

If you have a smart phone, you can download the NHS APP which will enable you to access a range of services including ordering your repeat medication and confirming your preferred pharmacy.

**If you use Holbrooks Pharmacy they can order your repeat prescriptions directly, their prescription box is available in the foyer for all requests - Please see their staff for further details**
