NHS Cervical Screening Results

NHS Cervical Screening Normal Results will be available on the NHS App.

In September, those who have a negative test result will be notified of this by an NHS App message. It will also appear as an NHS App notification. If the NHS App message isn’t read within 72 hours, a letter will be sent as a failsafe.

Abnormal result letters will continue, for the time being, to be sent by post.

What to do

  1. Download the NHS App: If you haven't already, download the NHS App from your phone's app store.
  2. Turn on notifications: Go into the NHS App settings and your phone's settings to enable notifications so you receive alerts about your results.
  3. Log in with your NHS login: This is the secure way to access your results.
  4. Check for your result: After your cervical screening appointment, your negative result will appear as a message and notification in the app
